September 23 Marching Band News
Dear MB Parents and Students:
Disney
update
Based upon our last meeting, I thought it would be good
to make sure that everyone was caught up to speed on the
information that was covered at the last meeting .
Everyone traveling with the Band (Students &
Chaperones) will pay an additional
$60 meal voucher to get all
your two meals at the Disney parks. This has to be a "all
or no one" decision. So I've decided this would be the
best for everyone attending. It guarantee everyone meals
throughout the day and provides an opportunity for me to
keep track of your son or daughter in the park. (Lunch
& Dinner check-ins at designated places) Oh... one
more thing the Car Wash fundraiser was a huge success.
Because of that success, each student earned enough to
cover this voucher and them some. exact amounts will soon
be distributed. Thanks for everyone's help. Don't
hesitate to ask if have any questions or concerns.
Remember Breakfast (included in the $599 cost) is at the
hotel before we leave for the parks each day.
As of now we need at least $200 -$300 more deposited in
each student's/chaperon's account. So if you're behind
please make every effort to catch up on payments.
Payments are not as flexible as the normal Marching Band
fees.
The deadline to withdraw from the trip without penalty
has passed.
The total of $599 for each student needs to paid in full
by November 17th. The 11/17 also happens to be the Fine
Arts Booster meeting for November. I know this payment is
earlier than what I originally requested but our full
payment is due just before Thanksgiving. I misread the
contract and was mistaken on this date. If this is
problem please notify me.
Make every check out to :
MTHS Fine Arts Boosters
PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE Send every payment to the:

Chaperon rooming decisions need to be completed ASAP in
order to determine how much each parent owes. ( ie do you
pay?... the 2 person room or 3 person room rate)
If you need account updates, contact Jim Dattilo. Be
patient with him for a reply. Like most his job of
student accounts can be cumbersome at times.
Remember this trip is about the students performing and
having a fun time together with their Band family
members.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact
me.
Thanks
Chris Render
